Experiences such as war, car accidents, rape, childhood sexual abuse, physical and emotional abuse, religious abuse, loss of a loved one, loss of a relationship, and other painful life experiences can afflict us deeply. They can cause deep changes in our feelings of safety, self perception, and emotional well being. They can take away the feelings of being the good person we know we are.  


Trauma also highly impacts how we attach or stay detached from others. Challenges such as addiction, suppressing self expression, excessive worry,  panic and fear, mistrust, shame and self doubt, sexual anorexia, sexual promiscuity, guilt, and lonliness are trauma's painful remnents.


Steve uses techniques such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Emotional Freedom Technique to address these delemnas. These therapy modalities serve to facilitate healing and renewed emotional, sexual, spiritual, and relational wellbeing.
